Junk Hauling in Triana

Triana is the small town tucked between the west fence of Redstone Arsenal, the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge and the Tennessee River, and for most of its history it was quiet. Then the subdivisions came down Zierdt Road from Madison, and now junk hauling in Triana is a mix of brand-new garages full of builder leftovers, military and contractor move-outs on a deadline, and the older river lots with a season's worth of brush and the furniture from the house before this one.

We price Triana the same as Huntsville, by load size from a photo, and the Zierdt Road run is a short one from Madison.

The pile looks the same whether the house is two years old or forty: the movers left it, the storm left it, or the last owner left it.

Growth along Zierdt Road

The new streets off Zierdt Road and toward the river are single-story and two-story brick homes built in the last few years, and they have the closing-day pile every new house gets: spare tile and flooring, scrap trim, a broken door, the cardboard and pallets from the appliances, all stacked along one wall of the garage. We take it as a load, and the unopened building materials go to the donation outlets that resell them.

The older part of town, the river lots and the homes along the refuge edge, has a different pile: limbs, brush, a dock chair or two, the fridge on the back porch and the furniture nobody moved out when the house changed hands. Same truck, same price list.

The river-lot brush is a spring job, after the water goes down and the limbs that came down the creek are on the bank; it goes to the yard-waste facility like any other brush load.

Unopened tile and flooring are worth setting aside; the donation outlets that resell building materials take them, and that is where ours go.

Move-out pickups

Triana is one of the closest places to Redstone's west gate, so a lot of the houses here turn over on PCS orders and contractor transfers, with a peak May through August. The movers take what is going. We take what is not: the old mattresses, the broken patio set, the garage shelving, the grill, the half-empty paint, the sectional that was bought for this house and will not fit the next one.

We do the sweep after the moving truck leaves and the house is empty for the walkthrough or the landlord. If you are already gone, a lockbox code and a keep list are enough, and you get photos of the empty garage when we are done. Landlords between tenants get the same service on the same day's notice when the truck is already on the west side.

Mattresses are the move-out piece we take most; a family of four on orders usually leaves three or four behind, and they price as a load, not four single items.

Services in Triana

Furniture removal for the move-out pieces and the mattress stack. Construction debris and yard waste for the builder leftovers and the river-lot brush. Garage cleanouts for the first-year pile in the new streets. Appliance removal and estate cleanouts for the older homes near the river. Madison is up the road and the same crew covers both on one route.

Most Triana jobs are a half load and a morning.

Nearby

Madison is up Zierdt Road, the Arsenal is the east fence, and the refuge and the river are the south and west edges, so the way in is down from Madison. The truck works Triana with Madison and the Zierdt Road corridor on one route, and same-day is common when a job is already on the west side of the county.
